Dean Fehlberg commenced the practise of MCDF Architects in 2013 to continue the work of Marcus Collins Architects upon Marcus' retirement. Dean worked with Marcus for over 25 years in the multi award winning form, becoming a partner in 2005.
A graduate of the University of Adelaide, Dean moved to Perth in 1981 working continuously since on residential, educational, institutional, heritage and adaptive recycling and tourist related projects, joining MCA permanently in 1989. The new practise maintains the ethos and approach of MCA, retaining the same team of dedicated and committed architects and staff to continue striving for outstanding built environments for our clients. MICHAEL SMITH

Michael Smith graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2002.
During his studies, he worked for Overman & Zuidevald on residential and education projects. and after graduation for Michael Patroni at Spaceagency on residential commissions.
He joined Marcus Collins Architects in 2003, to specialise in education projects. Since then Michael has acquired extensive design and documentation experience on more than 50 educational, residential, institutional and heritage projects in WA and NSW. Highlights are Bunbury Cathedral, Notre Dame Broadway and Darlinghurst, PLC middle School and Wallcliffe House.

SHANNON TOWNLEY

Shannon Townley graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Master of Architecture in 2014.
While studying, Shannon worked for Howard and Heaver Architects in Albany. After completing her first degree she worked for Phillip Griffiths Architects on a number of heritage and residential projects, including interiors and finishes. She then travelled throughout Europe and Asia before returning to UWA to complete her second degree, which culminated with a summer studio abroad in China.
She joined MCDF Architects in 2014 and has since gained extensive experience on a number of educational projects, including design, documentation, graphic presentation and interiors.
