PMACS Library Resource & Arts Centre
Completed 2010
Peter Moyes Anglican Community School is a co-educational, low fee paying K-12 school located in Perth’s northern suburbs. The initial masterplan was developed in 1999 and nine stages of building have been completed to date.
The Library Resource and Arts centre was a BER initiated project, and was able to be rapidly implemented due to long term master planning having already identifed the appropriate site for a Library. Existing school art and craft facilities were supplemented with a new arts centre on the ground floor. The library was located on the first floor which allowed use to be made of the panoramic views of the ovals and to the ocean from the quite reading areas.
The sixth stage to be completed was the Library / Resource Centre.
