The Allan Shaw Centre is the performing arts, drama and music facility of the Peter Moyes Anglican Community School, a co-educational, low fee paying K-12 school located in Perth’s northern suburbs, and was the 5th stage built. The masterplan designed in 1999 had identified a site on the northern east side with good public access and amenity.

The site slopes steeply away from the road which was utilized by creating a large enclosed undercroft multipurpose space which has been used extensively by the school. A split level design also enabled the building to access at grade to three different levels with a walk through lift providing compliant access to all levels. The Hall was designed initially to be multi purpose with a flat floor to allow for sport activities but with the ability to insert tiered seating at a later date which has now been done.
